As someone who struggles with anxiety, I found these suggestions to be great! I definitely am going to use them this school year!

As a first year teacher your advice on trying to stay in the present moment is appreciated! I find myself over buying things .. what if I need this .. what if I need that…? Or worried if “ I have it all” . Thank you for sharing!

It’s hard to know until you live it. It’s okay to wait until you get started to see what you really need. I find myself practicing trust a lot…trust that I know what to do, trust that I’ll figure it out, trust that the kids will give me grace. You’ve got this!

I love the comparison of back-to-school for teachers to re-entry from space—of course, I’m envisioning the shaking, brain rattling around, body being jostled about, and that return to Earth after a blissful experience.
